It’s Wednesday, September 5, and we’ve seen a big launch in India that will define how users buy smartphones for the next few months at least. The Xiaomi Redmi 6 series is finally here, which includes the Redmi 6A, one of the most affordable Android smartphones available in India now. Moto G6 Plus to launch in India this month
Although Motorola launched the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play in June this year, it held back on launching the Moto G6 Plus, the most expensive device of the G6 line-up. The company is now slated to launch the phone on September 10, according to a teaser from the company. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC, and will be priced at close to Rs 20,000.
Xiaomi Redmi 6 series launched
The much-anticipated Xiaomi Redmi 6 series has finally launched in India, with three smartphones as part of the range. The range consists of the affordable Xiaomi Redmi 6A (Rs 5,999 onwards), Xiaomi Redmi 6 (Rs 7,999 onwards) and Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro (Rs 10,999 onwards). The phones go on sale through the notorious flash sale model this month itself.
Apple upcoming products pricing and specifications leaked
The Apple iPhone XC, iPhone XS, Apple Watch Series 4, iPad Pro and MacBook seem to have had all their details revealed through a new leak, even though the September 12 event is a week away. The stars of the line-up are of course the two new iPhones, the more affordable XC and more expensive XS.

Lenovo ThinkPad E480 and E580 launched
Lenovo has launched the latest ThinkPad E-series laptops in India, the ThinkPad E480 and ThinkPad E580. Available in various configurations according to the needs of the buyer, the laptops are priced from just under Rs 40,000 to nearly Rs 90,000.
