Motorola has reportedly slashed Moto G6 prices in India by Rs 2,000. The prices have been reduced for both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants, reports 91mobiles. The new prices are said to be applicable in offline stores at the moment.
Lenovo-owned Motorola had launched the Moto G6 series earlier this year in June. As per the report, the Moto G6 price in India for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant will now be Rs 11,999 instead of launch price of Rs 13,999. Similarly, the Moto G6 4GB RAM + 64GB variant is said to cost Rs 13,999 as opposed to Rs 15,999 launch price.
Having said that, Flipkart is already selling Moto G6 smartphones at a lower price. The Moto G6 3GB RAM variant is retailing at Rs 10,999, and 4GB RAM model at Rs 12,999 on Flipkart. However, Amazon India is selling the phones at the launch price.
Moto G6: specifications and features
The Moto G6 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC. You get dual-SIM connectivity with a separate slot for microSD storage expansion, and a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual-camera setup at the rear. The variants sold in India will come with a 16-megapixel front camera with flash.

You also get a 3,000mAh battery with Turbo Power fast charging, the USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers, and a 5.7-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD screen with an 18:9 aspect ratio. For security, the phone has a fingerprint sensor at the front, and also features face unlocking. The Moto G6 comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box, with Motorola’s near-stock Android skin on top.
