Motorola launched the Moto G6 series back in April this year. The line-up consists of three smartphones Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, and Moto G6 Play with the latter two having been launched in India recently. Even though Motorola recently confirmed that it will be bringing the Moto G6 Plus to India soon, it seems the Lenovo-owned company has already begun working on the upcoming G7 series. A fresh batch of photos has leaked online on Chinese social networking portal Weibo, showcasing at least two unannounced Moto smartphones. Of these, one features a waterdrop-style notch (like the one on the recently-launched Oppo F9 Pro), while the other has a regular iPhone X style display cut-out.
According to a report by XDA Developers, the device with the waterdrop notch could possibly be the upcoming Moto G7 (even though it s labelled as Moto G6 Plus). The other smartphone is the labelled as Motorola One, which itself has been rumoured for quite a while.
The alleged Moto G7 shown in the pictures features slim bezels. The smartphone s glass back panel is also shown, highlighting a glossy red paint job, a protruding dual-camera module and of course, Motorola s batwing logo that doubles up as a fingerprint sensor.
