Motorola seems to be getting ready to launch a new Android One smartphone, likely to be dubbed as the Moto One Power. Recently we spotted a detailed list of its features. Now, leaked hands-on images of the device confirm that the Moto One Power will in fact be the first Motorola smartphone to feature a notch display. The images also give us more insight on the smartphone’s design and features.
Motorola is one of the few companies that still hasn’t joined the bandwagon of notch displays. But that seems to be changing, as the images posted by TechInfoBit reveal the Moto One Power to carry a big notch at the top, consisting of the front camera, proximity sensor and the earpiece. Other images posted by the website also confirm a vertically aligned dual-rear camera and a fingerprint sensor at the back, which comes with the Moto branding embedded in it.
At the bottom, the USB Type-C port can be seen flanked by the dual speakers. The 3.5mm headphone jack could not be spotted, but it could possibly be placed at the top of the phone, which wasn’t shown in any of the images. The standby and the volume keys are placed on the right side of the phone, while the SIM slot seems to be on the left.
It should be noted that these images are still not official and can just be of a prototype or a dummy device. There has been no word from Motorola about an official launch for the Moto One Power. This could also mean that the company could abandon the project or even change the design at a later stage.
