Android Nougat brings the multi-tasking and screen-splitting functionality to the smartphone. The feature will let the user use two apps at the same time. The recent apps buttons make toggling between two recently used apps easier. Notifications appear in different categories along with the ability to respond directly from the notifications panel.
Quick Settings can also be customized and app settings can be modified to stop the background apps from consuming data. Some apps can be barred from the list and can have access to all the data available. Android Nougat also brings battery updates with the ‘Doze on the Go’ feature which enters the phone in battery saving mode if the phone is not required. It can sense the location of the device and turn on the mode automatically.
