After launching the Moto X Play in India last month, Motorola recently teased the imminent launch of a slightly premium Moto X Style. The company has sent out media invites for a launch event on October 8, where it is expected to launch the Moto X Style. Just a couple of days back, the company had tweeted, Get ready to live life to the fullest & party in 15 minutes flat with the Moto X Style. Coming very soon! along with an image that had a caption #Beautility lies in being free . Flipkart has also created a dedicated page for the Moto X Style, but no other details are mentioned. Motorola Moto X Style specifications and features: It sports a 5.7-inch QHD display that runs at a resolution of 2560 1440 pixels and pixel density of 520ppi. Under the hood, the Moto X Style is powered by Qualcomm s 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. On the storage front, the smartphone will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB options. There s also a microSD card slot for further expansion.
For photography lovers, the Moto X Style is equipped with a 21-megapixel rear camera of aperture f/2.0 with dual-CCT flash. It also supports 4K video recording capabilities. There is also a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with front-facing flash. The Moto X Style comes with a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower feature that can charge the battery from zero to 50 percent in 15 minutes.
Standard connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0 are present in the Moto X Style. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and is set to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update going forward. It also comes with water-repellent nanocoating.
At the moment, there is no word on the pricing, but we will learn more about it on Thursday, October 8.
