Lenovo-backed Motorola was expected to launch the Moto X4 on August 24, but that didn t happen. However, the smartphone was recently certified by the FCC in the US. The FCC listing reveals the model number of the Moto X4 which is XT-1900-1 along with its specifications and features. The details are in accordance with past rumors that we have come across. The smartphone is rumored to be priced at 350 which translates to approximately Rs 26,500, and is likely to be offered in three colors – Sterling Blue, Gold and Super Black. Motorola doesn t have any event lined up for the IFA 2017 so a Moto X4 launch seems unlikely. Lenovo is holding an event on August 31, but there isn t any mention of Moto smartphones.
According to the FCC listing (via The Leaker) the Moto X4 will feature a 5.2-inch Full HD AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass 3 on top for protection. The smartphone will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor and Adreno 508 GPU for graphics. In terms of memory, the Moto X4 could come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage, which can be expanded up to 256GB via a microSD card.
In the photography department, the Moto X4 is expected to feature dual-camera setup – with a pair of 12-megapixel cameras with an RGB sensor and the other, a monochrome sensor. Up front, the smartphone could sport a 16-megapixel wide-angle camera for selfies and video calling. Fuelled by a 3,000mAh battery, the Moto X4 is likely to support 25W Turbo Charging feature. Prior to its earlier rumored launch date, the Moto X4 s alleged renders were leaked. The Moto X4 houses a Home button up front which is expected to double as a fingerprint sensor. At the rear, the dual-camera module is visible with the batwing Moto logo placed below.
