Motorola has announced an all-new Moto X4 today in India. The new model boasts 6GB of RAM and comes with Android 8.0 Oreo running out-of-the-box. The smartphone was first launched in India in November last year. However, the original model was available only in 3GB or 4GB RAM versions. The new Moto X4 with 6GB of RAM is priced at Rs 24,999, and will be exclusive to Flipkart and Moto Hubs. It will start selling from 11:59PM on January 31. There are a number of launch offers applicable on the purchase of the new Moto X4. These offers are valid on February 1 and February 2. Offers include a flat Rs 1,500 discount if you make the purchase using ICICI bank credit card. If you exchange an old device for the Moto X4 (6GB RAM), you can avail an additional Rs 3,000 in discount. Vodafone users can avail up to 490GB of free data on recharge of Rs 199. To recall, the highlights of the Moto X4 were its dual cameras and glass body design. The new Moto X4 retains the overall designing and innards, except the RAM. With the upgrade to Oreo running out of the box, the smartphone also gets an overall performance boost, split-screen capabilities, improved notifications, and much more.

The Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch LTS IPS full HD display, protected with Corning Gorilla glass. Under the hood, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 octa-core SoC clocked at 2.2GHz is paired with 3GB/4GB/6GB of RAM with 32GB/64GB of internal storage.
In the photography department, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup with a combination of a 12-megapixel + 8-megapixel sensors at the back. The camera has a 120-degree field-of-view and dual autofocus pixels for wider and better captures. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera.
It is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support. Connectivity options include USB Type-C port, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (dual-band, 2.4GHz and 5GHz), GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM card support with 4G VoLTE. The Moto X4 also features Moto Key, which is a built-in app for managing passwords and Bluetooth support for four different devices simultaneously. Additionally, the smartphone also comes with IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. In terms of design, the smartphone features an anodized aluminum frame, and 3D contoured front and back glass design.
