We already know that Lenovo-owned Motorola will launch a handful of smartphones under its Moto G, X, and Z-series. The company is expected to launch the 2018-variants of smartphones in the coming months. While yesterday details about the Moto X5, Moto G6, and Moto G6 Play surfaced online, today information about the Moto Z3 and Moto Z3 Play smartphones have surfaced online. Moto Z3 and Z3 Play
Promotional photo of what is said to be the Moto Z3 and Z3 Play has leaked revealing the design details. To begin with, both the smartphones are said to feature a 6-inch full HD+ 18:9 full-screen displays. Just like the Moto X5, these phones also have a white software bar below the display. The back panel seems to be made of glass adding a premium touch to the phone. Under the hood, rumors have it that the smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC.
The smartphone will feature newly-designed 16-pin connectors to let you attach the Moto Mods. Again the photo doesn’t show the presence of fingerprint scanner. However, it is not yet clear if the Moto will opt for under-display fingerprint or face unlock feature for authentication.
Additionally, there is also a rumored 5G Moto Mod in the works. This mod essentially would allow users to add 5G capabilities to their phones without having to buy a new one. The report further mentions that Motorola’s next-gen lineup of smartphones including the Moto G7, Moto E6, and Lenovo K9 will also come with iPhone X-like notch up front.
Just yesterday details about the Moto X5, Moto G6, and Moto G6 Play were leaked. The Moto X5 is said to come with a glass back panel and curved edges. Motorola might copy the iPhone X design and is expected to come with an iPhone X-like notch at the top of the screen.
The Moto G6 and G6 Play, on the other hand, are said to flaunt the same design as that of 2017 launched Moto X4. Both the smartphones are expected to feature a FullHD 18:9 displays. The Moto G6 is said to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display, a Snapdragon 450 processor, and a 3,000mAh battery. The bigger Plus model will likely come with a 5.93-inch display, a Snapdragon 630 SoC, and a 3,200mAh battery. On the camera front, the smartphones might sport 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear cameras, along with 16-megapixel front cameras.
