At Google I/O, the Android Wear-powered LG G Watch and the Samsung Gear Live were launched, and you can buy them off the Play Store for Rs 14,999 and Rs 15,900 respectively. But those wanting the Motorola Moto 360 however will have to wait a bit longer. For them, Motorola has released an official hands-on video that shows the forthcoming smartwatch in action for the first time.
The two minute video demos the different watch faces, how notifications work and Google voice search among others. When not in use, the watch’s display will remain on so you can check the time. To wake the display, you can either press the button on the side of the watch, or tap the screen.
Overall the Moto 360 looks beautiful, practical and a wearable device people will actually want to own. There is already quite a bit of hype around the device, without there being any word on the specifications or features of the smartwatch. It is expected to be launched some time later this year.
