Earlier today, Motorola launched the Moto E (2015) in India. While the company unveiled it in LTE and 3G variants last month, it has only brought the latter to India. The new Moto E is priced at Rs 6,999 — same as its predecessor when it was launched — and will go on sale via Flipkart at midnight. On the design front, there aren’t a lot of changes and at first glance it almost looks similar to last year’s Moto E. On the specifications front, the new Moto E boasts a bigger display, faster processor, more internal memory, as we as a front-facing camera. It features a 4.5-inch qHD (960×540 pixels) IPS LCD display, and is powered by a Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 302 GPU, and 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 2,390mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
