Motorola has just dropped the price of the Moto E (2nd gen) and Moto E (2nd gen) 4G in India. The prices have been slashed by Rs 1,000 each and are now available for Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999 on Flipkart. The price cut comes a week ahead of Motorola’s product launch event on July 28 where it is expected to launch the latest updates of the Moto G and Moto X. The two Moto E variants are available with an additional exchange offer, where buyers can get an additional Rs 2,000 off. However, this offer is subjective to exchange on select smartphones and the condition of those devices. Airtel is also offering its double data pack on purchase of all Motorola smartphones. The Moto E (2nd Gen) 3G and 4G feature a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with qHD (960×540 pixels) resolution and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The Moto E (2nd gen) is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 200 quad-core processor, while the Moto E (2nd gen) 4G is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core 64-bit processor paired with 1GB RAM and Adreno 302 GPU. The smartphone also features a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 2,390mAh battery (20 percent more than its predecessor). Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and on the software front runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
