Lenovo-owned Motorola has already launched the Moto G5, G5 Plus, Moto Z2 Play, and the Moto C smartphones this year. Now it seems to be gearing up to launch another new smartphone, called the Moto E4. The smartphone is said to be the successor to last years’ Moto E3 which was launched in India as E3 Power for Rs 7,999. Now, the latest render hints at the fact that the Moto E4 smartphone might launch in blue, gold and grey color options. The render leak comes from the infamous Roland Quandt of WinFuture. Talking about the design of the phone, it comes with with a gold rim wrapped around the front panel which can be spotted in the gold color variant. The images are very much similar to the phone leaked in previous renders. The device also sports the physical home button which will reportedly feature the fingerprint sensor embedded underneath. The smartphone will likely come with a 2.5D class up front. At the back, you have the rear camera with LED flash, whereas the 3.5 mm audio port is on the top Moto E4 will not be the only phone Motorola will be launching. Talking about the price of the smartphones, reports in the past suggested that the Moto E4 might be priced around €150 which is Rs 10,500 approximately. The Moto E4 Plus, on the other hand, could be priced at €190 which is Rs 13,300 approximately. We will still suggest you take the information with a pinch of salt till the company officially confirms anything.
The Moto E4 Plus is expected to feature a 5.5-inch IPS display with 2.5D curved glass on top. The smartphone could be powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core SoC clocked at 1.3GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. With 32GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot for up to 128GB support is also expected. On the camera front, the smartphone is expected to sport a 13-megapixel sensor with support for auto-focus. Up front, a 5-megapixel camera for selfies and video calling is expected. The smartphone might come with a massive 5,000mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Moto E4 could feature a 5-inch HD (720p) LCD display, a MediaTek MT6737M quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz, paired with 2GB of RAM. Also on offer could be 16GB of internal storage with microSD card slot for further expansion. The Moto E4 is said to sport an 8-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Talking about the battery, the smartphone could feature a 2,800mAh battery. Connectivity options on the smartphone could include 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11n, GPS and NFC. On the software front, it will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
Motorola pretty much has its hand full as of now. The company is simultaneously working on many smartphones. Apart from the E4 and E4 Plus, the company has its work in progress for Moto Z (2017), which the company plans to call the Moto Z2. Motorola is also launching the Moto Z2 Play in India tomorrow. The smartphone is up for pre-order and is expected to launch in India with a price tag of somewhere around Rs 32,000.
