According to the image spotted by mysmartprice, Motorola is planning to move the fingerprint sensor to the back for the Moto E5. To recall, Moto E4 sports a fingerprint scanner embedded in the home button up front. However, the latest leak suggests that in Moto E5, the scanner will be embedded into the Moto logo at the back, just below the rear camera. Motorola is keeping the same 16:9 aspect ratio display. The body is said to be metal, and the overall design of the smartphone looks pretty similar to the Moto E4. Considering Motorola’s E-series has always been an entry-level range, we might see a plastic body instead of metal. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto-focus and f/2.2 aperture. Up front, the smartphone houses a 5-megapixel camera with flash for selfies and video calling. The Moto E4 is fuelled by a 2,800mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
