The Moto G Titan is essentially the 4G LTE version of the Moto G (2014). If you remember, the Lenovo-owned company hadn’t released a 4G LTE capable version of Moto G last year. Other than that, it doesn’t seem to have many other changes. Also Read - Motorola Moto E (2nd gen) 3G and 4G variants get a price cut of Rs 1,000 on Flipkart
The body of the handset still measures 141.5 x 70.7 x 10.99 mm, and weighs just 6 grams more at 155 grams. The 5-inch display, however, now has 1280 x 768 pixels screen resolution, compared to 1280 x 720 pixels of last year’s Moto G. Though it could just be a typing mistake. This could be the same variant which was recently spotted on Motorola’s Brazil website. Also Read - New Moto G (third gen) leaks reveal disappointingly few improvements
The Moto E Styx also brings 4G LTE capability to the Moto E handset. The processor of the affordable handset has also received a refresh. The phone now comes with a quad-core processor instead of the dual-core Snapdragon 200. Both the handsets are running latest Android 5.0 Lollipop mobile software.
As per the listing, the Moto G Titan will be priced at 159.95 Euro (Rs 11,400), while the Moto E Styx is priced 109.95 Euro (Rs 7,800). It will be interesting to see if Motorola launches these in India considering Xiaomi, YU and even its parent company Lenovo have recently launched affordable sub-Rs 10,000 4G LTE smartphones.
