The Flipkart mobile app listed the Moto G (2015) with a price tag of Rs 11,999 for the 8GB variant. The listing was first spotted by TechDroider, but at the time of filing this story, Flipkart seems to have pulled it down. There however seems to be two variants that could be launching tomorrow — an 8GB variant featuring 1GB of RAM, and a 16GB variant featuring 2GB of RAM. The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, 2,470mAh battery, and connectivity options like dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. Interestingly, Flipkart doesn’t mention Moto G’s rumored IPx7 certification, which makes it resistant to water.
Motorola is hosting a launch event in New Delhi tomorrow, where it is expected to take the wraps off the Moto G (2015). While it may now have got as much limelight as the Moto G, the company could also be launching the flagship Moto X (2015) tomorrow.
