Lenovo-owned Motorola launched the Moto G6-series smartphones in June this year, and now, in less than 6 months, leaks of the successor, Moto G7, have also started to surface. The smartphone was recently spotted on FCC listing, and now, renders of the Moto G7 and Moto G7 have also surfaced.

Leaked by Mr Gizmo, the Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus renders show off the smartphone design from the front and back. As you can see in the renders, design-wise, both smartphones look identical but are expected to come with slightly different specifications. To begin with, we can see the waterdrop style notch on the top of the display, and thin chin at the bottom.

At the back, we can see the dual cameras placed inside a circular module. A Moto Logo is also visible, and it is likely to house the fingerprint scanner. Both smartphones also come with glass back and as per the FCC listing, they are expected to come with wireless charging feature too.

Talking about the specifications, the Moto G7 Plus is expected to come with a 6.4-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Moto G7, on the other hand, is likely to come with a smaller 6-inch display.

In terms of processing, the Moto G7 was spotted with Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, whereas the Moto G7 Plus could come with a Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. Lastly, to keep things ticking, the Moto G7 could be armed with a 3,500mAh battery, but there is no word on the “Plus” variant. Both smartphones could go official later this year, or early next year, and could run Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
