Motorola has already launched the second-generation Moto G and Moto X, and the next smartphone in its lineup is rumored to be the Moto S phablet. The leaked photo compares the Moto S back panel with back panels of the second-generation Moto G and Moto X. It is clear just how big the phablet is going to be, and it looks surprisingly big when compared to the new Moto X, which flaunts a 5.2-inch screen. Also visible is a big gap at the center of the panel, which will house the Motorola logo, similar to what we see on the new Moto X. The Moto S aka Shamu has been oft rumored in the past couple of months, and is also said to be the next Nexus smartphone. From what we have heard so far, it is expected to feature a 5.9-inch display with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a density of 564ppi, a 2.65GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 420 GPU and 3GB of RAM. While there is no specific date announced, reports claim that Google could quietly launch the Nexus smartphone towards the end of October around Halloween.
