After putting it up for pre-order in the beginning of March, Motorola today made the Moto Turbo available in India on Flipkart. The flagship smartphone is priced at Rs 41,999 with EMI, cash on delivery and free shipping options on purchase.
The estimated time for delivery is pegged at two to three days with a 30-day replacement guarantee. The company also provides one year manufacturing warranty for the Moto Turbo and the accessories. The offers that were available for customers who pre-ordered the phone on launch have now been removed.
The Motorola Moto Turbo is essentially the Moto Maxx, which was launched in November last year. The smartphone’s USP is a massive 3,900mAh battery. The company claims that it is good enough for up to 48 hours of mixed usage. It also supports Motorola’s Turbo Charger, which is said to provide eight hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging.
As for specifications, the Moto Turbo flaunts a 5.2-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with a pixel density of 565ppi and is powered by a 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. It also features 64GB of internal storage.
On the photography front, the smartphone includes a 21-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with f/2.0 aperture and dual-LED flash, supplemented with a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Connectivity options include 3G support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
