Therefor, the official price tag of the the new Moto X is Rs 29,999 and Rs 31,999 for the leather and wood back variant. The original launch price for the second-generation Moto X was Rs 31,999 and Rs 33,999 for the wood and leather back variants. The exchange offer is still available on the device. Therefore, you can get an additional price cut of Rs 6,000, upon exchanging your old device. The offer is however, available only on select devices, and the price of discount varies on the phone model you are exchanging with. The company will not return the device, if you plan to return your Moto X back in the future. With this offer, you can get the second-generation Moto X 16GB variant at a price tag of as low as Rs 23,999 and Rs 25,999 for the leather and wood back variants. As far as the specifications are concerned, the new Moto X flaunts a 5.2-inch full HD AMOLED 1080p display with a pixel density of 423ppi. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM. Also included is 16GB internal storage, but no microSD card slot to expand the memory. The 32GB variant option, as mentioned above, is also available from today.
The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash, and 4K video recording capabilities, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, front-facing stereo speakers, and a 2,300mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out-of-the box. However, the OTA update for Android Lollipop for Moto X devices in India has already been rolled out.
