After releasing the second generation Moto X last month, Motorola has decided to reduce the price tag on its original Moto X that was launched in March this year. The Moto X (first gen) is now available on Flipkart for as low as Rs 17,999. This means that the price of the original Moto X has been slashed by Rs 6,000 as the official launch price of the phone was Rs 23,999. As far as the specifications go, the Moto X (first-gen) has a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with 720p resolution. It is powered by 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor paired with 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage space of 16GB, a 10-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. Even after slashing the price, Motorola is still giving its one year manufacturing warranty with the device and Flipkart is also offering EMI purchase options. Meanwhile, the second generation Moto X, with iterations and upgrades, was released in September and was priced at Rs 31,999. It is slightly bigger with a better processor, amped-up camera and a marginally better battery. Both the phones are exclusively available on Flipkart for purchase.
