Motorola yesterday launched the Moto X Play at an event in New Delhi. Priced at Rs 18,499 for the 16GB variant, and Rs 19,999 for the 32GB variant, the smartphone went on sale last night exclusively via Flipkart. We spent some time with the smartphone at the launch event, and here s a look at it from all possible angles. In terms of the design, the smartphone is quite good to look at. The back panel sports a textured look with a strip up top that houses the rear camera, flash, and the Motorola logo. The front is dominated by the 5.5-inch display, the bezels are thin, and there is little wastage of space courtesy of on-screen buttons.
The smartphone s talking point is its massive 3,630mAh battery, which Motorola claims is good enough for up to 48 hours of mixed usage. The smartphone also comes with support for TurboPower, which can charge the battery to 50 percent in just about 15 minutes. The Turbo charger however is not bundled with the smartphone, and instead will be sold separately, priced at Rs 1,000.
