Motorola launched the Moto X Play in India last month, and had said that it would soon be launching the Moto X Style as well. The Moto X Style too has been launched in two variants 16GB and 32GB. The 16GB variant is priced at Rs 29,999, while the 32GB variant is priced at Rs 31,999. As is the case with Motorola smartphones, the Moto X Style too will be available exclusively on Flipkart from October 14. Motorola and Flipkart have also announced a bunch of launch day offers for buyers. These include exchange offers up to Rs 15,000, 100 percent cashback for 100 customers, Rs 5,000 off from MakeMyTrip on an international holiday, and Flipkart vouchers worth Rs 1,000.
Motorola Moto X Style specifications and features: It sports a 5.7-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display with a pixel density of 520ppi. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM.
Also on offer is a microSD card slot to expand the internal memory, and a 3,000mAh battery with TurboPower feature that can charge the battery from zero to 50 percent in 15 minutes. It also comes with a nanocoating that protects the handset from the accidental splash of water.
On the photography front, the Moto X Style comes with a 21-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with dual-CCT flash and 4K video recording capabilities. Up front is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with front-facing flash.
Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 4.0, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. Motorola had recently announced that the Moto X Style will soon be getting the Marshmallow update as well.
