Motorola One Power, the first Android One smartphone from the Lenovo-owned smartphone maker, will go on its first sale today. The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart at 12:00PM, and it is the challenger to Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Realme 2 Pro, Nokia 6.1 Plus, and Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1.
The Motorola One Power was first showcased at IFA 2018, Europe’s biggest tech event in Berlin, in August and was consequently launched in India last month. Motorola, which has lost its market leadership in the mid-range segment to Chinese smartphone makers, is trying to make a comeback with the One Power. After the launch of less than appealing Moto G6 and Moto E5 series, the company has one of the strongest product yet to challenge the likes of best-selling smartphones like the Redmi Note 5 Pro in the form of Motorola One Power.
Motorola One Power Price and offers
Motorola One Power is priced at Rs 15,999, and will be available in one storage variant only. Those purchasing the Motorola One Power can avail instant cashback voucher worth Rs 2,200 from Reliance Jio. There are also additional benefits including Cleartrip cashback vouchers worth Rs 1,250, and Myntra discount of Rs 1,000.
Motorola One Power Specifications and Features
The Motorola One Power features a big 6.2-inch LCD display supporting a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels, and tall 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is basically a rebranded version of company’s P30 Note smartphone sold in China. The display sports a wide notch similar to the one seen on Apple iPhone X, and also rocks vertically stacked dual rear camera setup.
Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636, which is the same processor powering devices like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, Nokia 6.1 Plus and the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The smartphone comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and support for expandable storage up to 256GB.
As far as camera is concerned, there is a dual rear camera system with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel image sensors. The primary 16-megapixel camera has an f/1.8 aperture with phase detection autofocus while the secondary 5-megapixel camera supports with depth sensing. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera, and it gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Motorola One Power runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box, and the company has already confirmed that Android 9 Pie update will be rolled out in a month. Apart from its iPhone X-style design and stock Android experience, the smartphone’s massive 5,000mAh battery serves as another USP. It also supports fast charging via included Moto TurboPower charger rated at 15W. The Motorola One Power is only available in black color, and it supports 4G LTE and basic water protection.
