Lenovo-owned Motorola’s alleged new devices in the ‘One’ series have been up in rumors for long now. The company is hosting an event on August 2 in Chicago where it is expected to unveil the Motorola One and Motorola One Power smartphones. But ahead of the launch, the anticipated Motorola One Power has now been spotted on Chinese certification portal TENAA revealing all the specifications with model number XT1942-1.
After several alleged leaks, this one is the first legit listing for the Motorola One device, or it is possible that company might call it ‘Moto One’. These smartphones are likely to be Google’s Android One portfolio smartphone by Lenovo-owned Motorola, and listing reveals it to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.
The Motorola One and Motorola One Power have already been part of several image leaks, but earlier this month the Motorola One live image appeared online showcasing the white color variant. The Motorola One is expected to arrive in Black and White color options. Although, the TENAA listing has more color options, as it notes Black, White, Gold, and Silver.
Motorola One Power specifications and features
As per the TENAA listing, the upcoming Motorola One Power will feature a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio. It will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz. The RAM options can be 3GB/ 4GB/ 6GB of RAM coupled with 32GB/ 64GB of onboard storage. Storage will be expandable via microSD card (up to 128GB). It is listed to run Android 8.1 Oreo, likely to be Android One device with Stock OS experience from Google.
For the camera, the anticipated Motorola One Power will boasts of a dual camera setup at the rear with a 16-megapixel primary and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front is said to include an 8-megapixel or a 12-megapixel camera. The handset dimensions listed by TENAA includes 155.8×75.9×9.98mm body size and 170 grams of weight. Also, the phone is listed to carry a massive 4850mAh battery under the hood.
