Motorola One Power India launch on September 24
Motorola One Power is all set to launch in India next week on September 24. The Android One smartphone by Lenovo-owned Motorola in partnership with Google was first announced at IFA 2018 alongside Motorola One. At the launch, Lenovo executive told BGR India that only Motorola One Power will launch in India, and now the company on its official Twitter account has shared the launch information.
Motorola One Power is Android One version of Motorola P30 Note, which was launched recently in China with Lenovo’s ZUI. It features a notched display that resembles the design seen on iPhone X and as a thinner chin with Motorola branding on it. At the front, it features a 6.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels and taller 18.7:9 aspect ratio.
Paytm Mall ‘Festive Season Sale’ announced
As the festive season gets closer. We’re starting to see e-commerce websites gearing up to host huge discounts and deals across a wide range of product categories. Today, Paytm Mall announced its ‘Festive Season Sale’ which will start from September 20. The four-day sale will end on Septmeber 23. During these days Paytm Mall will be offering great discounts and cashback offers on a number of products. Some of the offers include cashback on devices across brands such as Xiaomi, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Motorola, Honor and more.
OnePlus ‘Crackables’ crypto-puzzle went live today
OnePlus announced Crackables, a crypto-based puzzle in partnership with Google last evening. The limited time game developed by Sleep Deprivation Lab went live for everyone on 5.30PM IST today. The game includes a series of puzzles based on skill and speed to compete and players have the opportunity to win a $30,000 (equivalent to Rs 21,74,000) gaming setup and other prizes. The gameplay involves a guide who will help users through a series of puzzles to progress. OnePlus said that these puzzles will be both digital and physical and only the first 1,000 people making it through the first three challenges will qualify to continue on their pursuit to win $30,000 gaming setup.
Xiaomi’s Huami sub-brand launched Amazfit Verge smartwatch in China
Huami, a wearable brand backed by Xiaomi has launched a new wearable with circular watchface in China. The new Huami Amazfit Verge comes with a 1.3-inch circular display and offers fitness-centric features such as all day heart rate monitoring, notification for abnormal heart rate, NFC support for payments and GPS for location tracking.
The smartwatch uses an AMOLED display with a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top. It is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and is offered with 512MB RAM and 4GB storage optionThe smartwatch is IP68 certified and it supports GPS with GLONASS.
