Motorola may have fallen behind on the numbers in recent months, as Chinese smartphone makers Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo and Vivo have all gone ahead of the Lenovo-Motorola India operation in terms of smartphone shipments. However, the company hopes to make a comeback with the Motorola One Power, which goes back to the company’s original formula for success in India as a manufacturer of well-priced mid-range devices. And going by the response in the first sale, this seems to be the case.
The Motorola One Power went on sale today, and the company has now tweeted that the phone sold out in seconds when the sale started on Flipkart. The company has also revealed the details of its next sale: the Moto One Power will now be available to buy on Flipkart on October 11 at 12:01AM. The phone will go on open sale from October 11.
