The Motorola One Power has long been on the rumor mills, and it is now widely expected to be launched on August 2. It however seems like there could be another new Moto device launched in the One-series.
The folks at Android Headlines have shared renders of a smartphone called Motorola One. This rumored smartphone is said to be smaller than the One Power. But it is unclear if it is just compact or a toned down version.
From the front, the Motorola One and One Power look pretty much the same. The full-screen dominates the front with slim bezels around it, and a notch at the top. One small difference that is noticeable is the chin on the One Power is comparatively slimmer.
The back is where you see all the differences. The One features a glass back panel, while the One Power gets a metal back. The dual-camera module too is different on the two devices. The One is seen featuring a dual-tone LED flash, while the One Power is seen with a single LED flash.

While the details are a tad scarce at the moment, one thing is clear – Motorola is gearing up to unveil a new smartphone series. The One-series of smartphones, as the name suggests, will be a part of the Google Android One initiative. This means that the upcoming devices will run stock Android OS, and will get timely updates. The two One-series smartphones will no doubt launch with Android Oreo out-of-the-box, and are likely to be among the first devices to get Android P update.
