Now, Motorola has announced the P30 Note in China, which is essentially a rebranded version of Motorola One Power. The Motorola P30 Note has the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset as the regular P30 smartphone. The smartphone is offered with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and includes 64GB of internal storage. There is also support for expandable storage up to 128GB via SD card slot. Also Read - Lenovo ThinkPad X1 foldable PC launches in India finally with a steep price tag
At the front, the Motorola P30 Note has a 6.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels. This translates to a tall aspect ratio of 18.7:9, but Motorola promotes it as a 19:9 panel in product material. There is a notch, and it is as wide as the one seen on Apple iPhone X. Motorola has been highly criticized for not putting much thoughts and blatantly copying Apple’s design language.
As far as camera is concerned, the Motorola P30 Note borrows the camera setup from that of One Power. It features a combination of 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel dual rear camera setup. The primary 16-megapixel sensor has f/1.8 aperture and while the secondary sensor has an f/2.2 aperture that aids in producing images with bokeh mode. The two vertically stacked image sensors are separated by dual-tone LED flash.
The selfie shooter on the Motorola P30 Note uses a 12-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 lens and 1.25 micron pixel size. While the Motorola One Power runs stock Android with Android One branding, the Motorola P30 Note runs Lenovo’s ZUI 4.0. The Motorola P30 Note becomes third device after the Lenovo Z5, and Motorola P30 to be based on company’s ZUI.
