Motorola today sent out invites for a press event on September 5 in India. The launch would likely coincide with Motorola’s September 4 event in Chicago, where it is expected to unveil the Moto X+1, Moto G2 and the Moto 360 smartwatch. Earlier today BGR India reported about spotting the Moto G successor in an import manifest. The Moto G2 is expected to feature a front-facing speaker like the Moto E. It will feature a 5-inch 720p display. It will also continue to use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB RAM and have dual-SIM connectivity. However, the rear camera will be bumped up from 5-megapixels to 8-megapixels and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Moto X+1 is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm 8974 processor clocked at 2.45GHz paired with 2GB of RAM. It will feature a 5.2-inch 1080p display, 12-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 32GB/64GB internal storage. The Moto 360 is expected to have a 1.5-inch LCD display with 320 x 290 resolution and 205 ppi, a Texas Instruments processor, a built-in pedometer and heart rate monitor. It is also said to be waterproof for 30 minutes in up to 3.3 feet of water. It is likely to be priced at $249.99 in the US.
