Motorola starts selling its entire smartphone portfolio on Amazon India with special inaugural offers

After selling its smartphones and smartwatches exclusively on Flipkart, Motorola will now start selling its entire device portfolio on Amazon India too. As a part of this move, the company is also offering some special inaugural offers.


Motorola has been selling its smartphones and smartwatches exclusively on Flipkart. However, some of the recent releases such as the Moto 360 (2nd gen), Moto G Turbo Edition and the Moto X Force were also sold via Amazon India. Now, the company has made its entire portfolio available on Amazon India along with some special inaugural offers.

Starting March 1 to March 4, Motorola will be offering some discounts on its range of products, including the Moto E (2nd Gen), Moto G (3rd Gen), Moto G Turbo and Moto 360 (2nd Gen). Customers can also avail additional 10 percent cashback up to Rs 1,500 on purchases made using State Bank of India (SBI) credit and debit cards. The offer will only be applicable till stocks last.

Motorola’s Moto E (2nd Gen) 4G which is usually priced at Rs 6,999 will be available for Rs 5,999 only. It sports a 4.5-inch qHD display, a quad-core processor along with 4G LTE connectivity.

The Moto G (3rd Gen) 8GB and 16GB which is usually priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 10,999 will be available at Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively. The smartphone features a 5-inch HD display, a quad-core processor, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera along with 4G LTE connectivity. It also boasts IPX7 certification for water and dust resistance.

The Moto G Turbo Edition which is usually priced at Rs 12,999 will be available for Rs 11,999. As the name suggests, it comes with a TurboPower charger, which Motorola claims to offer up to six hours of talktime on just 15 minutes of charging. While all other features are identical to the Moto G (3rd Gen), it does come with a slightly upgraded Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 615 SoC.

The Moto X Force, which comes with shatterproof display and top of the line specifications is also available. However, it will be sold at the listing price of Rs 49,999, without any discount. It sports a 5.4-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 810 octa-core SoC, 3GB of RAM, 21-megapixel rear camera and a 3,760mAh battery with TurboPower charging feature, which Motorola claims can offer eight hours of battery life on just 15 minutes of charging.

The Moto 360 (2nd Gen), which is priced at Rs 21,999, will be available at Rs 18,999. Powered by Android Wear OS, the smartwatch is available in two sizes – 46mm (1.37-inch backlit LCD display of 360×325 pixels resolution) with black metal or cognac leather and 42mm (1.56-inch Backlit LCD display of 360×330 pixels resolution) with black or cognac leather. It features a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU paired with 512MB of RAM. It is also IP67 certified for water and dust resistance.
