According to the famous leakster Evan Blass, Motorola will re-launch the Play variant of its E and G-series in 2018. To recap, the last ‘Play-series’ smartphone was in 2016. His tweet further mentions that the Motorola is planning to launch Moto E5 Play along with Moto E5, and E5 Plus, Moto G6 Play, Moto G6, and G6 Plus in 2018. Well, that sure is a lot of smartphones. In addition to the Play variants, Evan Blass also shared a logo for the Moto X5, which is most likely the sequel to this year s Moto X4. To recap, the Moto X4 features a 5.2-inch full HD (1o80p) IPS display with curved glass and Gorilla Glass 3 for protection on top. Under its hood is a Snapdragon 630 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The smartphone has 4GB of RAM, and two expandable storage options of 32GB and 64GB. For selfies, the Moto X4 houses a 16-megapixel camera of f/2.0 aperture, and with LED flash. On the software front, the Moto X4 runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
The smartphone is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery along with the company s TurboPower charger for fast charging. Its connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and USB Type-C port. The Moto X4 also comes with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
The Moto X4 is available in two variants – 32GB internal storage paired with 3GB of RAM, priced at Rs 20,999 and other with 64GB of internal storage with 4GB of RAM and is priced at Rs 22,999.
