This report claims that the Motorola X-phone will sport a 4.8-inch screen made of sapphire glass, which is said to be nearly three times tougher than Gorilla Glass. It will be powered by a 2GHz Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and have a massive 4,000mAH battery. Speaking of build quality, the device is said to have rubber bumpers with a back made of carbon fiber and will also be water-resistant. Also Read - Alleged Motorola X-Phone benchmarks leaked again
In addition to the above, as we had reported earlier, the flagship smartphone is also expected to have dimensions of 131.2×66.7×7.9mm and will include features like a 16-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with eye scrolling technology. On the software front, the device will reportedly include the latest version of Android, rumored to be called Key Lime Pie.
Though the above specifications sound impressive, they are still rumors and should be taken with a pinch of salt. The report also goes on to claim that the Motorola X will be launched in November during the Holiday season, instead of the Google I/O in May as was believed earlier.
