Motorola has finally launched the much anticipated Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod in the US. The Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod is priced at a whopping $199.99 and is currently available for pre-order on the official website. The new Moto Mod allows you to instantly print small photos of the size 2 x 3-inch on a ZINK paper. Apart from that, you can also print photos directly from your phone camera as well as social media sites including Facebook, and Instagram. The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer looks like a rectangular box that can be attached to the phone’s rear panel. It comes with a shutter button. The mod uses Polaroid’s proprietary Zero-Ink Paper format to produce 2-inch by 3-inch photos. The Moto Mods connect to the phone via a series of connecting points on the back of Moto Z phones.
Additionally, users can choose from different printing options that are available with the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer. It also gives users a free-hand to edit the photos to include different borders, filters, and text within the app. The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Mod has a 500mAh battery that the company claims will last up to 20 prints. It weighs 188g and comes with a USB Type-C cable for charging. The Mod can hold up to 10 sheets of printing paper at a time. As of now, there are four Moto Mods available in India. These include the JBL SoundBoost Speaker, Hasselbad True Zoom Camera, Instashare Projector and Incipio offGRID Power Pack. The JBL speaker is available for Rs 5,999, the camera is available for Rs 14,999, the projector is available for Rs 15,999, and the power pack is available for Rs 4,999. However, there is no word if Motorola chooses to launch the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod in India. However, according to Phonearena, Motorola also said that it will go on sale in other markets globally in the coming months.
