Mozilla has announced that its popular Firefox browser is getting a social API that has the Facebook Messenger for Firefox  now baked in to the browser. Users will need to manually enable this feature. This is an important integration considering users spend 20 percent of their time on social website and Facebook is the biggest social network of them all. Once the feature is enabled then one will have access to a social sidebar, which will showcase your Facebook chat and news feed. Additionally from here users will also get notifications, messages and friend request prompts. Mozilla claims this is just the first step, and hopefully we will soon see something similar for Twitter and other online social network services.
