MWC 2018 is less than 20 days away, and top brands are all set to launch their flagship smartphones at the event. However, we recently learned that Huawei won’t unveil the P10 successor at MWC. Instead, it will launch the device on March 27 at a separate event in Paris. Huawei has confirmed its presence at the Mobile World Congress, and has promised to unveil new products.
Those expecting to see the Huawei P11 (or P20), would be a bit disappointed. According to a report on GSMArena, Huawei may unveil a new Mediapad tablet. Recently, a tablet showed up on Geekbench listing featuring an 8.4-inch display running at QHD resolution.
Powered by Kirin 960 quad-core SoC along with 4GB of RAM, the tablet also supports Cat.4 LTE and runs Android 8.0 Oreo. It is likely to be the MediaPad M5 tablet, but we will have to wait until Huawei officially announces it.
Apart from the tablet, Huawei is also expected to bring its payment service, Huawei Pay in the European markets. The Chinese company is also expected to unveil the successor to the Huawei Watch 2, the Huawei Watch 3. However, more details about the specifications, design and features of the smartwatch are not available at the moment.
Just yesterday, two new Huawei smartphones carrying model number FLA-AL00 and FLA-TL10, which could be the Nova 3 and Nova 3 Plus were spotted on Chinese certification site TENAA. The smartphones feature 18:9 display and dual cameras at the back. There is a possibility Huawei may announce these devices at MWC 2018.
