If the rumors in the past are to be believed, we will see the Nokia 7 Plus, the Nokia 1 and the Nokia 9 at MWC 2018 later this month. However, a fresh new report has now made appearance, and claims that HMD Global may also showcase the Nokia 4 at the same event.
According to a report by NokiaPowerUser, the Nokia 4 will be powered by Snapdragon 450 processor and will be launched at MWC 2018. The first ever mention of the Nokia 4 being under-work was made back in 2017 via an APK tear-down of the new Nokia Camera. There was also a rumor that Nokia 4 will replace Nokia 3 in the portfolio.
However, it would be essential to mention here, that while the launch of Nokia 4 at MWC may seem likely, the news still comes from an unofficial source and cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, consume with a pinch of salt, will you!
Besides the Nokia 4, the same APK tear-down also revealed the Nokia 7 Plus, which has been highly-rumored lately. Just two days ago, a live photo of the smartphone was leaked, which showed off a large-screened display on the device, with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
In terms of specifications, the Nokia 7 Plus is expected to sport a 6-inch display with Full HD+ resolution of 2160×1080 pixels, and taller 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, which will be an improvement over the Snapdragon 630 chipset found under the hood of Nokia 7. The smartphone is expected to launch with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the Nokia 7 Plus is likely to feature a dual rear camera setup with Carl Zeiss optics. The rear camera could feature a combination of 12-megapixel and 13-megapixel cameras with one of the image sensor supporting 2x optical zoom. The smartphone is also expected to include a 16-megapixel camera, and support features like Bothie mode.
