At the Mobile World Congress 2018, meeting expectations, HMD Global officially announced the Nokia 6 (2018). Among other improvement, the new Nokia 6 comes with enhanced Dual-Sight, ZEISS optics, USB-C fast-charging, a more compact screen-to-body ratio, Nokia spatial audio, and Android Oreo out-of-the-box. Under the hood, the new Nokia 6 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform. Accompanying the chipset is 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage, which the company announced will be available in early April. There is another variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage announced, which is said to be “coming later”.
In terms of optics, the new Nokia smartphone comes with Bothie camera and Nokia OZO audio features from Nokia 7 with the fingerprint sensor moved to the back. There is a 16-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. The smartphone is supported by a 3,000mAh battery similar to the outgoing model.
The smartphone will be available in Black/Copper, White/Iron and Blue/Gold, color options.
The Nokia 6 (2018) will go on sale in early April and will retail for a global average retail price of €279 (Rs 18,000 approximately).
