Recently the company also trademarked a Nokia phone with model number TA-1005 as Nokia 8 Sirocco’. The smartphone is expected to be unveiled at MWC 2018 later this month. First spotted by Gizmochina, the Snapdragon 845 chipset will be coupled with 6GB of RAM. To recap, in 2006, Nokia had launched the Nokia 8800 Sirocco phone. Now, it is speculated that the upcoming Nokia 8 variant will be a tribute to the 8800 Sirocco. Considering the Nokia 8800 Sirocco was the most expensive device in the company s portfolio back then, the Nokia 8 2018 variant might also fall into the premium category. From what we know so far, the Nokia 8 Sirocco is expected to feature 5.5-inch, QHD resolution 3D glass OLED display. Just like the 2017-Nokia 8, the new upcoming smartphone might also come with a dual-camera setup.It is likely to include ZEISS certified 12-megapixel sensor and a 13-megapixel sensor. Up front, there might be a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is expected to arrive with IP67 certified dustproof and waterproof chassis.
