We are four days away from the official showcasing of the Samsung Galaxy S9 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, and as we inch closer to the day, the frequency of leaks only seems to be increasing. According to XDA Developer, Samsung is going to let attendees at the expo visualize the Galaxy S9 with the help of augmented reality. The publication found a Reddit user who tore down the Unpacked 2018 mobile app and discovered that hidden in the software is a feature that will let those at the event see the Galaxy S9 in AR by tapping their phone against their event badge. From there, they can switch between various colors to preview the appearance of Samsung s newest flagship from all angles. The Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are believed to be the first smartphones to go on sale with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset in the US, while other regions will get Samsung s Exynos 9810 SoC. The smartphones will have Infinity Display design like their predecessors, but the fingerprint sensor at the back is believed to be moved below the camera module. The Galaxy S9 will feature single rear camera, while Galaxy S9+ will feature dual rear camera setup.
