If reports are to be believed, the rumored Honor 8X could arrive next month, by mid-September, with a huge 6.5-inch screen and a notch design. This smartphone would be designed to compete with the new Xiaomi Mi A2, and other mid-range smartphones.
The new Honor 8X will have a design similar to the Huawei Nova 3, which was released last month. The Honor 8X could even have four cameras – two rear and two up front – although the details about the sensors are yet unknown. A new image has surfaced online, courtesy of Toutiao, is said to be the Honor 8X.
According to the source, the Honor 8X has dimensions similar to the Huawei Nova 3 – 160.7×76.9×7.5mm. Hence the display size of the Honor 8X is expected to be between 6.3-inch and 6.5-inch. Honor is also said to be adding its Kirin 710 chipset on the Honor 8X, which is a high-performance processor manufactured by TSMC.
Although details about the available storage options are yet to be known, it could be the same as its predecessor Honor 7X – 3GB RAM/32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/64GB Storage.
The leaked tempered glass also showcases a notch at the top of the device that will house the sensors, front-facing cameras, and earpiece. The display will be of LCD technology, and is likely to feature a FHD+ (2340×1080 pixels) resolution, and 19:9 aspect ratio. The device is also expected to feature a micro-USB 2.0 charging port, and support 10W charging.

The leaked model number for the Honor 8X is JSN-AL00/AL00a, and it is expected to be priced around RMB 1,299, approximately Rs 13,200, for the base variant, The device is expected to launch in September this year.
