Fast charging technology is looked upon as one of the most important features on a smartphone now. The feature is currently found on almost every flagship smartphone, with manufactures constantly working on improving it. Now a new report has surfaced online suggesting that Huawei s next fast charging technology can charge smartphones up to 90 percent in just 30 minutes. Chinese website CNMO seems to have spotted a Huawei power adaptor, with a model number HW-100400C00, and an output specification of 10V/4A. This means that the adaptor has a maximum power output 40W, which is way higher than the 22W power output featured on the Huawei P20 series of flagship smartphones. The website claims the new technology to charge the device up to 90 percent in half an hour. To compare numbers, Huawei s current fast charging technology is known to charge the phone completely in 45 minutes. On the other hand, the fast charging technology on OnePlus 6 can charge the phone to a 100 percent in just about an hour. From the looks of it, Huawei s new fast charging standard seems to be almost twice as fast.

We re not sure, when or which phone Huawei plans to unveil its next-generation fast charging technology with, but it should be revealed soon. According to the website, the company can debut the technology with its upcoming Mate 20 series of smartphones. It has already gotten a 3C certification from National Quality Certification Center in China.
