Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 800 processor has only just started arriving on premium flagship devices, but the ARM chip manufacturer seems to have already readied its successor. From the screenshot, the new Snapdragon SoC seems like an incremental upgrade from the Snapdragon 800. Many things like resolutions and number of cores supported remain the same, but it is the clock speed and the GPU where we see the upgrades. Snapdragon 800 supports clock speeds up to 2.3GHz and supports Adreno 330 GPU. This forthcoming chipset seems to support clock speeds up to 2.5GHz and Adreno 420 on the graphics side.
