Motorola’s Moto 360 was one of the most premium first generation smartwatches with its circular dial and metallic casing last year. And now, leaks surrounding the next-generation smartwatch have started to pour in. The latest comes from a Brazilian federal telecom regulatory website Anatel, which states that Motorola is working on two smartwatches of different sizes. The listing was first spotted by 9to5Google and its suggests two variants 360S and 360L are in the offing. Just yesterday, Motorola mistakenly tweeted a video teaser of the upcoming Moto 360, only to delete it soon after. Making the smartwatch in two different sizes is an interesting move, considering Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch in two sizes last year. The smartwatch also received flak over being large and bulky, and Motorola could look to rectify that by making two sizes for different wrists.
Apart from the sizes, the 360S and 360L will feature 270mAh and 375mAh batteries respectively. The smartwatches will support Bluetooth, Bluetooth LE, and Wi-Fi connectivity. The new Moto 360 is also said to feature removable straps that can be changed easily.
Back in March, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing also hinted of the next-gen Moto 360 s arrival. With the leaks picking up pace, the smartwatch unveil may be just around the corner.
