It s been just over a month that the Honor 7 was unveiled in China. Now it seems the company is close to launching yet another smartphone, with a rather interesting and unique feature. An Honor smartphone with model number ATH-AL00 was spotted on China s TENAA, GizChina reports. While not a lot is known about the handset in terms of its specifications and features, the photos reveal an interesting feature. The two cameras on the smartphone will be placed on the same sliding assembly. While you can normally click photos from the rear camera, to click a selfie you will have to slide the camera upwards. Thankfully rather than having to manually pulling out the camera, there is a dedicated physical button on the right side.
It may seem like a pointless innovation, but there are a couple of advantages to this feature. For one, the bezels at the top of the screen are slimmer, and the company is also able to add dual-LED flash to the rear, as well as the front camera.
As mentioned above, there are no details available at the moment. No word on any launch timeframe either.
