The phone was launched in United States earlier this month, only to run out of stock in within minutes. It was expected that Nexus 6 will launch in India and over 20 other regions later this year. The phone also got listed on Google India Play Store last week with pricing details. The 32GB variant of the Nexus 6 has been priced at Rs 44,000 while the 64GB version to cost Rs 49,000. But keeping the short supply in mind, the company is said to first cater the device to its US audience and then look at other regions.
The delay will disappoint a lot of customers who were planning to purchase the phone soon. Last year the Nexus 5 smartphone was launched exactly one month after its global unveiling. To recap on the Nexus 6 s hardware specs, it flaunts a 5.96-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) AMOLED display and is powered by a 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor paired with 3GB RAM. On the camera front it has a 13-megapixel shooter at back, and a 2-megapixel snapper upfront. It packs an impressive 3,220mAh battery with support for Motorola s new Turbo Charger.
