On Motorola s webpage for the Nexus 6, the specifications section mentions Water Resistant, and below it there is a Yes. While it doesn t specifically mention to what extent it is resistant, we do not expect the smartphone to be submersible. Instead, it could have a nano coating on the inside as well as outside, similar to what Motorola offers on some of its smartphones including the Moto X (second generation). The Motorola-built Nexus 6 features a 5.96-inch QHD display, and is powered by a Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32/64GB internal storage. The phablet also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and on the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. The Nexus 6 will be up for preorders tomorrow, before going on sale on November 3, and as for pricing, the unlocked version costs $649.
