Google took the wraps off the Motorola-built Nexus 6 last night via a blog post. Today, Motorola has revealed that the new smartphone will be available in about 28 countries including India later this year. The Nexus 6 will be up for preorders in the US from tomorrow onwards, before hitting the stores on November 3. As for pricing, the Nexus 6 will cost $649 for the unlocked version. To recap on the specifications, the Nexus 6 features a 5.96-inch QHD display, 2.7GHz Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB/64GB storage options.
The smartphone also features a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a 3,220mAh battery. On the software front, it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, which Google announced last night.
In addition to the availability details of the Nexus 6, Motorola also revealed that the Android 5.0 Lollipop update will be available for the Moto G (second gen), Moto X (first and second gen), and the Moto E, as soon as Google releases it.
