Nike and Apple are collaborating again for a new wearable which is set to match the sport brand’s upcoming Air VaporMax running shoes. Called Midnight Fog, the limited edition Apple Watch Series 3 comes with LTE support and is priced at $399 (approximately Rs 26,200). It will be available starting November 24 at Nike’s online store as well as physical retail stores.
As the name suggests, the Midnight Fog Watch Series 3 is designed with stealthy color scheme of deep greys, making them ideal for those working out during winters. The smartwatch also comes with Nike’s Run Club app that offers community connections, new digital coaching, motivation features and such additional features.
In terms of specifications, the Nike Midnight Fog smartwatch doesn’t bring much of a change compared to the regular Apple Watch Series 3. However, the limited edition smartwatch comes with some exclusive watch faces and the updated Nike+ Run Club app.
It is the second time Nike has released a special edition Apple Watch alongside corresponding sneakers. The upcoming Air VaporMax sneakers will sell for $190 starting November 24. As The Verge notes, there don’t seem to be any plans of the company to sell the Watch Band separately. However, if you are keen on getting the band, which distinguishes the Midnight Fog from regular models, without buying a new Apple Watch, then you can consider the Black Sport Loop band. In India, Apple Watch Series 3 (GPS) is available in gold, silver, and space grey aluminium cases with a Sport Band starting at Rs 29,900. The Apple Watch Nike+ starts at Rs 29,900.
