Netflix recently changed its profile icon on Twitter and Facebook, and many users on the internet confused it for a new logo for the online video streaming website. After the change in its Twitter icon, many users were anticipating some new announcement from Netflix about the same. However, after many tweeted to confirm what was going on, Netflix tweeted clarifying that it was just a new icon and the Netflix logo is here to stay. Instead of the previous Netflix icon, which was ‘Netflix’ written in red against a white background, the new icon is just a big N written against a black background. The new icon has folded edges, which gives it a very crafty look. Also, unlike the previous logo that carried the entire name of the brand running horizontally through the picture, the new ‘N’ icon fits perfectly within the profile icon box. After Netflix confirmed on Twitter that it was just an icon, and there were no plans to change the company logo, users on social media gave their feedback. Most of them are quite positive, and here are some of the tweets we came across.
